Whether it’s Spring Break, Major League Baseball Spring Training, golfing, shopping, or dancing in the streets of downtown Phoenix, March is a fantastic month to be in Arizona. The weather is picture perfect during the day for outdoor activities and the evenings are warm enough for patio dining.
This week-end was no different. And it was also the week-end for the downtown’s first Viva Phx Music Festival. There were over 65 bands playing live music in different areas all over the downtown. Some of the bands were playing indoors and some were outdoors. Major streets in the downtown were blocked off to accommodate the thousands of pedestrians who were enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. Based on the outstanding turn-out of attendees, this will probably be an annual event from now on!
Ron took several video clips of the festivities and he’s put two of them on the blog. One is a time-lapsed video taken from our patio and the other video was taken at CityScape.
